Lessini Durello DOC Spumante Brut

This wine is obtained mainly from Durella grapes
and after the pressing we let them ferment for ten months on their own yeasts.

DENOMINATION: Lessini Durello spumante Brut

GRAPE VARIETY: Durella, Chardonnay

PRODUCTION AREA: Veneto, Verona, hilly area of Roncà (Mount Calvarina, Mount Duello) on volcanic soils 140 metres above sea level.

YIELD PER HECTARE: 100 hl

UPBRINGING SYSTEM: Guyot espalier with 7000 vines per hectare

 

GRAPE HARVEST: manual

VINIFICATION: soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature (14-16°C)

AGEING: in autoclave on yeast for 10 months

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: it presents a bright straw yellow colour and persistent, fine bubbles.
On the nose, it recalls wildflowers and white-pulp fruits. Dry and playful on the palate, it presents delightful fruity marks.

MATCH: it matches very well with many dishes, particularly as an aperitif, with starters and fish.

ALCOHOLIC STRENGTH: 12%
